For the special pieces — christening gowns, blessing outfits, fine occasion wear, and delicate knits — we use professional wet cleaning rather than traditional dry cleaning. It cleans with water and biodegradable, non-toxic detergents, closer to a careful handwash than to the harsh chemical solvents used in conventional dry cleaning. For anything that goes near a baby, that difference matters.
It is a gentler action that is kinder to delicate fabrics, with lower drying temperatures that reduce the risk of shrinkage and damage.
