A full strip-down deep clean for your pram, pushchair or baby car seat, collected from your home in Richmond, Kew, Petersham or North Sheen and brought back to your door.
Book via WhatsAppWe collect across both Richmond postcodes. TW9 takes in Richmond town, Kew and the north side of North Sheen; TW10 covers Richmond Hill, Petersham and Ham. In Kew that means the late Victorian streets around Kew Green and Sandycombe Road, the 1920s and 1930s houses built on the old North Sheen market gardens, and the newer riverside flats. In Richmond it means everything from the houses around Richmond Green to the top of Richmond Hill.
Prams here have a hard life in the best way. Richmond Park, Kew Gardens, the Thames towpath and Petersham Meadows are all on the doorstep, and between them they deliver gravel, mud, grass and river grit to every wheel. Our deep clean strips the pram down and cleans each part with baby-safe products at our specialist cleaning facility, then rebuilds it, checks it and brings it back to the same address.
Richmond and Kew sit at the far end of our west London runs. We work the delivery into one total price on WhatsApp, so the number you see is the number you pay.
All of TW9 and TW10: Richmond town and Richmond Green, Richmond Hill, Kew and Kew Green, North Sheen, Petersham and Ham.
We collect from your house or flat on an evening or weekend run. We let you know the collection day on WhatsApp, and roughly when it will come back.
A pram and baby car seat together as The Full Valet (£119), or a travel system (£149), is the best value for one collection.
Some of the best pram walks in London, and what each one leaves behind.
Two and a half thousand acres, with around 600 red and fallow deer that have lived here since 1637. The Royal Parks ask everyone to stay at least 50 metres from the deer, which matters most in the birthing season from May to July and the rut from September to November. The Tamsin Trail runs just over seven miles round the edge.
For little ones, the Petersham Gate playground has toddler swings and sand and water play, with toilets and baby change, and the Isabella Plantation is at its best for azaleas in late April and early May. Pembroke Lodge is the main café. Sand and gravel from the park get into wheel bearings and folding joints, which is why we clean the chassis as well as the fabrics.
Kew is mostly flat with tarmac paths, which makes it one of the easiest big days out with a pram. Under fours go free. Kew says baby changing is within easy reach of the main attractions, cafés and gates, and prams stay at ground level for the Treetop Walkway.
The Children’s Garden, for ages two to twelve, is included in admission with no booking, and is nearest to the Elizabeth and Brentford gates. Its water play is worth a spare change of clothes, and sometimes a towel for the pram seat.
The Thames Path follows the towpath past Petersham Meadows, a water meadow grazed by cattle in summer, towards Ham House, which has baby change and the Orangery café. Terrace Gardens on Richmond Hill has sloping lawns and a café with toilets, and the view from Richmond Hill is the only one in England protected by an Act of Parliament.
North Sheen Recreation Ground on Dancer Road has two play areas and a café, Raleigh Road Recreation Ground has an inclusive playground entered from Windham Road, and the council side of Old Deer Park, off Old Palace Lane, has infant and junior play areas.
Richmond station has lifts and is step free, for the District line, the Overground and South Western Railway. Kew Gardens station has step free access to both platforms, but through different entrances, so changing platforms without steps means a walk of around 600 metres round by the street. North Sheen has no step free access, while Mortlake does.
Richmond prams work hard on gravel and grass, which suits full size models like the Bugaboo Fox and UPPAbaby Vista with their bigger wheels. Off road wheels pick up more grit than city wheels, so the chassis and wheels get as much attention as the fabrics.
Our waterproof treatment (+£20) is popular with parents who walk the park in all weathers, and for brakes, wheels or harness parts that are past cleaning, we fit replacements through our pram repair service.
