“Our pram needed a deep clean and I’m so thankful I came across this service. … They were also very professional and quick to communicate with.”

Our home patch, from Sloane Square to World’s End

Chelsea is one of the areas we know best. Our base is on Kensington High Street and our van is kept close by, so collections in SW3 and SW10 are short runs for us, and collection and delivery here is free.

We collect along the length of the King’s Road, from the garden squares near Sloane Square to World’s End, from the houses and mansion flats of Cheyne Walk and Royal Hospital Road, from Paultons Square and Sydney Street, the crescents of The Boltons, and the newer buildings at Chelsea Harbour and on Lots Road. If you are in a flat, let us know about lifts, porters or a concierge when you book.

Your pram goes to our specialist cleaning facility, where it is taken apart and every piece is cleaned with baby-safe products, then rebuilt, checked and brought back to you.

Local Guide

Chelsea with a pram

Where Chelsea prams go, and a few things worth knowing before you set off.

Royal Hospital Chelsea and Ranelagh Gardens

The Royal Hospital grounds are open to the public from 10am Monday to Saturday and from 2pm on Sunday. Ranelagh Gardens closes over lunch, from 12.45 to 2pm, and the grounds close for Chelsea Flower Show week, so check before you walk over.

Chelsea Physic Garden

Pushchairs are welcome at the Physic Garden on Royal Hospital Road, which opens most days except Saturday (check times before you go). Under fives go free, and there is baby changing and a café on site.

Playgrounds and splash pads

St Luke’s Gardens on Sydney Street has a playground for children from five, with public toilets, and opens from 7.30am. At the World’s End end, Cremorne Gardens on Lots Road has level access from the street, a splash pad and toilets, with steps down to the river promenade. For under eights, Play Base at the National Army Museum on Royal Hospital Road runs one hour soft play sessions.

Splash pads are the reason so many Chelsea seat fabrics come to us with tide marks. Water dries into the foam under the fabric, and a sponge on the surface does not reach it.

Across the bridge to Battersea Park

Battersea Park is the big green space for Chelsea families, across Albert Bridge or Chelsea Bridge. The Children’s Zoo is nearest the Chelsea Gate on Queenstown Road, just south of Chelsea Bridge.

The Tube with a pram

Sloane Square and South Kensington have no step free access; step free works at South Kensington are planned but not yet complete. For a lift, use Knightsbridge (the step free entrance is on Hooper’s Court, off Brompton Road), Earl’s Court, Fulham Broadway, or Imperial Wharf on the Overground for Lots Road and Chelsea Harbour. West Brompton has lifts to the Overground and the eastbound District line only.

Maternity on the doorstep

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Fulham Road, SW10, has the main maternity unit for the area, including its private Kensington Wing.

Prams we clean in Chelsea

Chelsea prams are in daily use on pavements, in parks and in and out of cabs. Compact strollers like the Babyzen YOYO and Bugaboo Butterfly, which fold small for flats and taxis, are everywhere here. Light coloured fabrics show every mark, and stains are treated as part of the deep clean.

Flying soon? Our guide to taking a pram on a plane covers what airlines do to them, and our airline damage report helps if one comes back broken. For a newborn on the way, our newborn packages clean the pram, carrycot, car seat and crib together.
